 XXXX Bitter is a big-hearted, full flavoured lager that stands tall and proud for Queensland quality. And this pride is something we believe in deeply, right down to our ingredients. Pure local water is combined with Australian malted barley, Queensland cane sugar, unique Golden Cluster hops & yeast grown on site at the Brewery to create XXXX Bitter

  • 1 Morgans Queensland Bitter 1kg Dextrose
  • 12g Cluster Hops
  • Brew Cellar Premium Lager Yeast


  1. Put 1.5 litres of water in a saucepan with 250gm of Dextrose. Bring mix to a rolling boil while stirring (to avoid sticking),
  2. Add Cluster hop bag, turn off the heat source and stand for 10 minutes. Add to your sterilized fermenter, the can of Morgans Queensland Bitter, the rest of the dextrose as well as the contents of your   saucepan
  3. Top your fermenter up to 23 litres with cool water
  4. Add the yeast when wort temperature is below 22°C and stir in well Try to ferment at a constant   22°c.
