Clayton Young is the founding director of BrewWorld Australia and you can find him behind the counter in our Merrimac store every day! Clayton has been involved in home brewing and Home Brew Supplies for the last 30 years, and believes in creating quality, value for money and excellent taste every time.

Clayton’s enthusiasm for the whole home brewing process carries through in into the friendly service you receive every time you enter the store. His knowledge and expertise really show when explaining each part of the brew process, and have seen him successfully mentoring many prospective brewers, even before they realise they’re going to start brewing! For the last 12 years Clayton has been in a key role as an Operations Manager for an event company, managing production of multiple events each day and guiding a crew of up to 30 people, brewing only as a hobby when he found the time.In 2015 he finally managed to open the doors to his first store on the Gold Coast, and within days was already proving to be a firm favorite with the locals.

With the help of his family and loyal friends, through BrewWorld Australia Clayton is making waves in the Gold Coast brewing community, changing the face of home brewing and Home Brew Supplies into a new desirable hobby for adults of all ages.
